Designed with parents, for parents – FirstView®, powered by First Student, brings you into your student’s daily journey to and from school.

FirstView® serves as your tool for monitoring your student’s bus location, estimated arrival times at their stop, and school arrival or departure times. This collaboration between First Student and the school districts we serve aims to enhance transparency and communication regarding school bus information for students and families. While currently accessible in a select number of districts, efforts are ongoing to extend the service to more districts. To verify if FirstView® is available in your area, we recommend reaching out to your school district or contacting our dedicated FirstView® support team.

Live Tracking

• The FirstView® map displays real-time bus location and direction, stop schedules for the current day, and timestamps for school arrivals and departures.

Predictive Stop Arrival Times

• By analyzing route and live GPS data, estimated arrival times at your stop are provided on the FirstView® map.

Custom Alerts and Messages

• Configure push or email notifications to alert you when the bus is approaching a specific distance or number of minutes from your stop.
• Receive messages explaining delays and estimated wait times when your student’s bus is running late.

Multi-Stop View

• Easily track buses for all your students with FirstView®, where each student’s route is color-coded for clear identification. View all selected stops simultaneously on the map for convenient monitoring.

Additional User Notifications

• The primary user of the FirstView® app can link up to three extra email accounts to receive alerts.

Secure and Easy Access

• To set up FirstView®, a password-protected account including your student’s ID is required, ensuring that only authorized users can view bus information.
• Register and access your account seamlessly from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop.
